Jed

Jed is the perfect example of what a Yellow BlackMouth Cur should look and act like. He takes a back seat to no dog when it comes to finding and baying Hogs or Bear. He is the best rig dog I have ever had the pleasure to hunt with. He has been striking off the Rig since he was six months old. When he is casted or roaded, I have seen him strike tracks eight hours old and trail them til he jumps them. After he jumps a Hog or Bear the race doesn't last long! I guarantee he will "shut" em down. When Jed gets there, the game will either bay, tree, or get eaten! Jed's desire is unmatched by any dog I have ever seen. I have seen him stay on a bad walking boar, here on the Red River, all night long. We would start with four or five dogs and by the time we could get a Bull dog to him, Jed would be the only dog left. The rest had come back and been in the dog box for hours. Jed's sire is Wrights Rodeo Stock II. I believe Genetics is everything!
